I’m Reid, founder of RISELIGHT, and over the past several years I’ve worked in the lighting industry designing and importing large-scale installations for resorts and outdoor events across Ontario. including projects at Blue Mountain Resort.
Over the past several years, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with manufacturers and lighting technology from around the world while building custom light installations for public spaces and resorts. Through that experience, I discovered a new category of portable outdoor lighting that completely changed the way I camped and explored the outdoors.
As someone who has always loved camping, adventure, and spending time outside, I immediately saw the potential. What started as a personal interest quickly turned into a passion project, finding high-quality outdoor lighting products that are genuinely useful, durable, and designed for real outdoor experiences.
